MMA made it's prime time network television debut on Saturday as Elite XC showcased internet phenom Kimbo Slice. Slice faced 6'5", 265 pound James "The Colossus" Thompson and had his hands full. Manhandled on the ground late in the 2nd round, Slice unleashed a barrage of punches in the 3rd to earn a TKO victory. Thompson's disgusting cauliflower ear bled profusely as it dangled after Slice connected on a looping right hand.

FYI, Slice needed just 19 seconds to dispose of Bo Cantrell in his MMA debut and 43 seconds to stop Tank Abbott. Most expected a similar outcome against Thompson who had lost his last three and seven of his last nine fights.
